Escape to Morocco is the guide-led practice of Abdellatif Bougoula, a licensed Moroccan cultural guide based in Marrakech. Abdellatif works with assistants, other licensed guides and authorised tourist transport providers to help travellers experience Morocco.

WHAT ESCAPE TO MOROCCO PROVIDES

Your written guide-service confirmation may include:
– the services of Abdellatif Bougoula or another appropriately licensed Moroccan guide;
– itinerary discussion and route-planning assistance;
– communication and scheduling support from the Escape to Morocco team; and
– entrance fees for the monuments specifically listed in the confirmation.
An assistant or driver does not perform licensed cultural guiding unless that person also holds the required guide licence.

TRANSPORT IS A SEPARATE SERVICE

ACCOMMODATION AND OTHER EXCLUSIONS

Unless a written confirmation expressly says otherwise, the following are not included in the Escape to Morocco guide service:
– accommodation;
– meals and drinks;
– flights;
– travel insurance;
– visas and vaccinations;
– transport-provider charges;
– optional activities not specifically listed;
– tips; and
– personal expenses.
Travellers choose, book and pay accommodation directly with the hotel or booking provider. Each provider’s own terms apply.

Submitting the website enquiry form starts a planning discussion. It is not a booking and does not require payment.
Share your dates, group size, route interests and preferred pace. Escape to Morocco will explain what guide-led services may be available and, where requested, introduce you to an authorised transport provider.
5. GUIDE-SERVICE CONFIRMATION
Before you pay Escape to Morocco, you will receive a written guide-service quotation or confirmation stating:
– the guiding dates and approximate duration;
– the meeting and finishing points;
– the guide arrangements;
– the guide fee and currency;
– the monument entrance fees included, if any;
– any required deposit and balance deadline;
– what is included and excluded; and
– the guide-service change and cancellation terms.
Check the details carefully and request clarification before accepting.

2. INFORMATION COLLECTED
I may collect:

– travel dates, group size, route interests, arrival and departure cities and accommodation preferences;
– information included in your enquiry or later communications;
– agreed guide-service dates, meeting points, itinerary, guide fee, monument fees and payment records;
– accessibility, dietary or health information that you choose to provide when it is relevant to the requested service; and
– technical information such as IP address, browser, device, approximate location and pages viewed through website logs and analytics technologies.
Please do not send payment-card details through the enquiry form, email or WhatsApp.
3. HOW INFORMATION IS USED
I use personal information to:
– answer enquiries and discuss a proposed route;
– prepare and confirm guide-led services;
– coordinate assistants and appropriately licensed guides;
– introduce you to an authorised tourist transport provider when requested;
– communicate about meetings, changes, safety and traveller support;
– maintain service, payment and accounting records;
– protect and improve the website; and
– comply with legal obligations or manage a legal claim.
Submitting an enquiry does not create a booking or payment obligation.
4. WHO MAY RECEIVE INFORMATION
Information is shared only when reasonably necessary with:
– assistants who support communication, scheduling and administration;
– licensed guides assigned to a confirmed service;
– an authorised transport provider when you ask for transport or approve an introduction;
– website hosting, email, security, analytics and recordkeeping providers;
– professional advisers; and
– public authorities when required by law or reasonably necessary for safety.
The transport provider receives only the information needed to prepare or perform its separate transport contract. It controls its own quotation, invoice, payment and privacy responsibilities.

5. COOKIES AND ANALYTICS
The website uses essential technologies needed for security and normal operation. It also uses Google Analytics to understand website visits. Google Analytics may process device and browser details, approximate location, pages viewed and a cookie-based identifier.
Non-essential analytics cookies are activated only after you make a choice through the website’s cookie controls. You may refuse or withdraw consent without losing access to the main website. You may also delete or block cookies through your browser settings.

6. INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
Website, email and analytics providers may process information on servers outside Morocco. Where a transfer requires consent, a regulatory filing, a contract or another safeguard, the required steps will be taken under applicable law.
7. RETENTION
– Enquiries that do not become confirmed services are normally kept for no longer than 24 months after the last meaningful contact.
– Service, monument-fee, payment and accounting records are kept for the period required by applicable tax, accounting and legal rules.
– Analytics and security information is kept only for the configured or reasonably necessary period.
Information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed, subject to legal retention requirements.
8. SECURITY
Reasonable organisational and technical measures are used to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No internet or email transmission is completely secure, so please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.
9. YOUR RIGHTS
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access or correct your personal information, object to certain processing for legitimate reasons, withdraw consent for future processing based on consent, or request deletion where no legal reason requires retention.

10. CHILDREN
The website is intended for adults planning travel. A parent or legal guardian should provide information about a child only when it is necessary for a family’s requested arrangements.
