Three nights can give you a focused taste of a single region. Around ten days can create a balanced Marrakech-to-Fes journey with mountains and desert along the way. A longer trip gives cities, coast and quieter time more space. The point is not to collect the most stops. It is to give the stops you choose a sensible place in the route.
